Are you indecisive about areas of your renovation? here’s 4 ways to change.
#1 See the Forest… When trying to make up your mind, keep your eye on the goal. What is the purpose of this? Have I satisfied that purpose?
#2 Make it Snappy… On small matters give yourself three minutes to decide and no longer; then act. Ask yourself, does this decision really matter in the grand scheme of my design? If not, don’t invest a lot of time or energy on it.
#3 Don’t force the Big Stuff… If a problem is complex and you find yourself playing the possibilities over and over in your mind, maybe now isn’t the time to decide. Give yourself a breather, but be specific – you’ll sleep on it, decide tomorrow; you’ll let it sit for a week, then look at it again; you’ll revisit it in the spring.
